She has been an inspiration for so many to follow their dreams. I want to say how proud and happy I am for Melissa. It's been a pleasure to get to know her family. As you can see, as we spent more time together we have grown to like one another and more importantly, to respect each other. It did not always make it any easier to deal with, but I did appreciate her very gracious apology. Jacqueline has been very kind to me from the very beginning, and I won't ever forget her kindness.Īlthough Caroline and I got off to a rough start this season, I can fully appreciate where she was coming from. After a few weeks of working through her feelings, I am happy to say that she is in a better place. At the time our reunion was filmed, she was very upset and it was best for her not to come. Whether you want to interpret it as the love of the idea of a great big happy family, or the love for what once was, or just the love for someone that you are related to, family becomes an ongoing part of who you are.It was very sad not to have Jacqueline with us at the reunion.
But since you are bound together by love, you have an inseparable connection. If you weren't bound together, you could easily just walk away. When you think about it, it's because you are family that the issues are there in the first place. All we can ask is that we keep moving forward, learning from our experiences, and making changes for the better.Įvery family has issues. Don't you wish there was a rewind button on life?
